It turns out celebrities are no better at playing games than anyone else, even when they’re trying to raise money for charity. Like everyone else, the famous faces have to explore four zones – Aztec, Industrial, Futuristic, and Medieval (or, in the latest series, the new Eastern zone) in a quest to collect Time Crystals. To do this, team-members take on Physical, Mental, Skill, and Mystery games to the best of their ‘abilities’…
A diverse range of celebrities have so far taken on the mighty Maze – everyone from Nicola Adams to Rob Beckett, Sara Cox to Big Narstie, and from Oti Mabuse to the cast of Derry Girls. Their success rates have been what could politely be described as ‘variable’ but the levels of entertainment have always been sky high.
