The search to find the UK’s greatest a capella act – hosted by Cat Deeley (ably assisted by the show’s house group, The Sons of Pitches). Filmed in front of a live audience in atmospheric East London concert venue The Troxy, each heat sees five diverse groups compete over three elimination rounds: a two-track medley, a song by a selected iconic artist
(think the likes of Bowie, Prince, and Queen) and, last but not least, the most impressive song in their repertoire. The winners go through to the final – and the series champions earn the honour of recording an album at the world famous Abbey Road studios and releasing a single in time for Christmas.
