Peter Usher Creative Director

Three years of working as a producer and programme editor on The Big Breakfast not only taught Peter most of what he knows about television but also how to cope with finding a left handed set of golf clubs for Michael Parkinson at five in the morning. He went on to work on The Match, Soccer Aid and Strictly Come Dancing It Takes Two before joining RDF in 2007. As Head of Entertainment, he executive produced shows like Wogan’s Perfect Recall, Sing If You Can, Britain’s Brightest and Tipping Point. Now he pursues the modest ambition of making Fizz one of the country’s leading entertainment providers…

Louise Scales Development Producer

Louise gained a foothold in the TV industry as a runner on shows such as Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe and 8 Out of 10 Cats. She then made a speedy ascent through the ranks to Producer, cutting her comedy and entertainment teeth on award-winning shows including; The Graham Norton Show, Would I Lie To You, Facejacker, The Friday Night Project, Derren Brown: The Experiments and Alan Carr Chatty Man. After seven series producing Chatty Man, Louise decided to bring her experience and vision to development…and also to boss the boys around.

Neale Simpson Creative Director

Neale comes up with lots of ideas for telly shows. Sometimes broadcasters agree to make them. Sometimes they don’t. Neale is always excellent at taking rejection however, and it is categorically untrue that he has a dartboard covered with commissioners’ faces next to his workstation.

Toby Smith Development Executive

Toby has divided much of his career between games-producing for prime-time shows (inc. I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Red or Black?, and Britain’s Brightest) and entertainment development. He was lured into broadcasting back in the mid-nineties by a fun summer at The Big Breakfast, went on to be a BBC Production Trainee, and has since packed in the solid (PD-ing, live gallery producing, and edit producing), the surprising (producing a Chinese gameshow, directing a sitcom for Radio 4, filming in the underwater stage at Pinewood, etc), and the surreal (e.g. sparring with Romeo from the So Solid Crew live on CBBC – whilst dressed as a giant pork-pie).
